Meet your Coach
I'm Colin, a strength and conditioning coach with a decade of experience helping people become stronger, healthier, and more capable.
I began coaching in 2016 and have since worked with clients across a wide range of goals and ability levels—from people taking their first serious steps into fitness to experienced trainees looking to push their strength, physique, conditioning, and overall performance further.
Over the years, I've coached at various facilities before transitioning into independent coaching. I've helped clients lose significant amounts of body fat, build strength they never thought possible, and develop healthier relationships with training and nutrition. Some of the clients I work with today have trusted me with their training for nearly a decade —something I value as much as any individual result.
My Approach
I've never been satisfied simply knowing what to do. I want to understand why it works, when to use it, and whether there's a better option for the person in front of me.
That curiosity shapes the way I coach.
I believe quality training is more than a collection of exercises, and good nutrition is more than hitting a set of numbers. Coaching should account for your goals, training history, lifestyle, preferences, strengths, limitations, and ability to recover. The best plan isn't the most complicated one—it's the one that appropriately applies the right tools to the right person at the right time.
My own training reflects that same philosophy. I care about building muscle and getting stronger, but I also want to run, sprint, jump, move well, and maintain the conditioning to actually use that strength. I believe you shouldn't have to choose between looking athletic and being athletic.
Always a Coach, Always a Student
Continuing education has been a major part of my career. I'm a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and hold certifications across strength and conditioning, nutrition, weightlifting, kettlebell training, movement, and recovery modalities
My education includes:
NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
EXOS Performance Specialist (XPS)
Precision Nutrition Level 1
StrongFirst SFG Level II
StrongFirst SFB Bodyweight Instructor
USA Weightlifting
Animal Flow Level 1
TriggerPoint Therapy
CPR/AED
3rd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo
But certifications are not what make someone a good coach.
They provide tools. Experience teaches you when and how to use them.
After a decade of coaching, I'm still learning, questioning my assumptions, refining my methods, and looking for ways to provide a better service to the people who trust me with their goals.
Ultimately, my job is simple:
Meet you where you are, understand where you want to go, and build the most effective path to help you get there.
